To the people who force other people to go to church/any church at all if they don't want to...

Like no, no, don't do that. You're just going to make them not like church and not want to go anymore than they already probably don't want to.

For years, I have been forced to go to churches by my mom that I don't like or am not comfortable at. And while that (surprisingly) hasn't hindered me from sticking to my religion, it does make me weary of the actual church and their congregation.

I'd much rather prefer to go a church that I like and that I'm comfortable with. And if I like a big church with a drum set and a band rather than a small bilingual church that's usually really conservative and judges the youth for what they wear to church, then please, let me go to the church that I like. Don't force me to a church that you like, because we're different people and we don't like the same churches.

Now, if only I could get this through to my mom. -_-'
