23984093th 9 / 11 journal, i'm guessing. i don't care.

my best friend's dad died in the towers
he would have lived, he was going to go
down to get something on like the first floor
but he decided to wait until his lunch break
he was on one of the higher floors when it
happened. she didn't go to school today,
normally she and her brothers don't, and
normally they come in the next day and they're
okay. but she called me in the middle of school
crying and said she'd heard her dad's name on
TV when they read off all the names.

i felt horrible.
i can't imagine what she or anyone else who lost
someone on 9 / 11 is going through. my heart goes
out to them. <3
