Am I the only one?

Ok, real talk time. This might make me sound snobby but am I the only one who doesn't like to read stories unless they have a layout? It doesn't have to be amazing but everytime I click on a story and see the default layout I click away.

Maybe my eyes just don't like the default layout?

Or maybe I like people who put a little creative effort into creating a layout/banner/whatever that adds to the tone of the story.

Even if you don't know how to make one it is SO easy to change the color of the background, the content or the font. You can do that and be done with it and it'll at least look like you put a little effort in. I mean hell you can go into the forums and request one if you don't want to make one.

The ability to design the layout of your story is like my main draw to this website, making the layout/banner/cover/background is like half the fun to me.

Am I the only one that thinks this?
