Does it freak anyone else out when they post original fiction for the first time?

So I have a story that I began writing a while back and I'm just getting into it again. It's an original fiction about a woman who was one of the most desired debutantes and is now trapped in a marriage with someone who is physically and emotionally abusive. She sneaks out of the house one night and meets a rocker that's more than just a little rough around the edges and their worlds collide when he saves her from the darker side of his world.

I'm really excited about this story and thought about potentially trying to actually turn it into a book, but I kind of want input on it as I'm writing too. I post quite a bit of fan fiction and I generally get a good response, but for some reason I'm deathly afraid to put my original fiction out there and not get any responses or get a bad response. Has anyone ever dealt with anything like this before and do you have any tips to push through it? It literally gives me anxiety to think about posting it because I don't want to post it and then feel like it's horrible.
