Can anyone help me?

I'm currently in a Fantasy/Sci-Fi/Magical Realism class, and I'm quickly approaching the deadline for the fourteen-page final paper. The problem is that I'm not really sure what I want to write about. The paper allows me to write about anything within the fantastical mode - this includes books, movies, video games, comics, etc. that contain any sort of fantasy, science fiction, or magical elements. Of course, this great volume of material also allows me a lot of rope to thoroughly hang myself with. I'd really love it if you guys could give me some ideas.

Here are some ideas I have so far:

Chuck Palahniuk - Invisible Monsters - Physical appearance and the limitations it places on identity.

Disney - Frozen - Underlying themes of anxiety and/or depression in the character Elsa.

While I like both of these ideas, I'm not sure which, if either, I should or could write about.

If anyone has any recommendations for a specific work or theme that I may be able to explore, I would greatly appreciate your input! When recommending, I would prefer a book or a film produced within the last fifteen years.
