What do you do with unfinished stories?

Do you delete them? Or leave them?

I never wanted to delete them before but recently I've had people comment on my unfinished stories and asking or updates and I know I'll never do it.

I also want to delete them because I have a TON and I feel like they clutter up my story page.

I also know I'll be posting new stuff in the future so I know that'll also make my story page even more cluttered.

So some questions:
1. If you have discontinued stories, why are they incomplete? Did you lose inspiration and get bored of it or if it's fanfiction did you just lose interest in the fandom?
2. Are the majority of your unfinished stories fanfiction or original fiction?
3. Do you still read stories if you know they're unfinished and won't be updated? (I know I sure don't if i see that it hasn't been updated in six months or more)
