Old Stories On Mibba

I'm not trying to nit pick and cause a riot, so please hear me out before starting anything.

But I think stories that are 3+ years old, heck maybe even 2 years old and that have poor grammar, spelling and in general are disobeying the rules should be taken down.

I know it seems really nasty and it's clear that the author doesn't come on any more but it makes me wonder why stories that, even though they have a lot of potential lack the basics like proper, formal spelling and are left lying around.

I'm sorry if this upsets anyone but this is a small (slightly bigger) pet peeve of mine, I'm not saying erase it off the face of the earth but simple take it down and send it to the author via PM and explain why it's been taken down.

Why? It makes Mibba look neater and it gives the author a chance to fix it and put it back up on here.

Either way the author's probably been gone a long time. I know it'd mean more work for story editors but as a member of the magazine staff I'd like to stick up my hand and say:

"I VOLUNTEER AS TRIBUTE!!"

If I've offended anyone I apologize, this is simply my thoughts on the matter :)
