A year ago today, Tumblr connected me to someone who would soon become the most important person to me. She was the first to find out about my first tattoo. She was the one I would go to when I had run out of options. She helped me find myself and didn’t judge any of my actions.
She is kind, and sweet, and smart. She does not give herself enough credit. I love her as much as a stranger can love another stranger, but truthfully we aren’t strangers. We are two people who just happened to be born four thousand, three hundred and forty-one miles away from each other.
We learn something new everyday from the other, but that is what a friendship is about. It is about teaching each other and learning from each other all the mystics and wonders of life. I have had so many fabulous memories that include her.
