My Poetry Will Be Showcased on National Television

A few weeks ago my past language arts teachers all emailed me this contest to write a poem about 1 or more of Jackie Robinson's 9 values of success.

Well I am embarrassed (even more so now) to say I'm not passionate about baseball in the least, or even know THAT much abut Jackie Robinson.

I got a cal this morning and I won :)

I- I can't even.

I'm just so happy

You guys have given me the confidence to do these types of things, and I know Mibba will be in my heart while I'm on the field.

I get to go to the game on April 15th so they can honor me on the field during the pre-game. They gave me tickets for my family too, like I'm grinning ear to ear right now even though this is not Pulitzer Prize or anything ^_^
