Okay, so I was lying in bed last night and this thought came to my head, (It could just be total nonsense but I thought I would put it on here anyway so you people can decide)
Btw. if you haven't read/watched Divergent, this is going to make no sense whatsoever..
The idea was that the people who only like a certain type of music belong to a faction, whereas the people who like all music, are Divergent.
People say that music can make you feel a certain way, I'm not sure why. I was thinking that it is like divergent, the people who are divergent (like all music) can be made to feel a certain way by all music. But the people who only like say.. heavy metal, could be the dauntless.
Now I'm not saying these people are 'genetically damaged' (well they - we - could be...) but the actual premise of music showing our character of whether we are 'divergent' or just separated into groups (factions). What do you think?
