Trying to Figure Out This Site Can Be Very Overwhelming.

I joined this site like a month ago. I've been trying to figure it out, but without much luck.
I don't know how to make a story layout [it seems very confusing and I give up after staring at it for like, ten minutes], and to be honest, I'm afraid to actually talk to anybody on this site.

Silly, I know. But, at the same time, it is my own fault because I haven't been very...active? Interested? I just haven't logged in much and trying to figure out a whole site in a day, is overwhelming, unfortunately.

So would any of you kind Mibba people help a newbie out? Show me the ropes? I've seen plenty of amazing story layouts, blog layouts, poem layouts, etc. Hopefully someone will be able to dumb it down in terms I can understand so I can start posting my stories with a presentable layout so it will be much more enjoyable for my readers.
