I Actually Wrote Something | Summer Plans

I haven't really been on here in ages, I've been so busy. The second year of A-Levels is not fun, plus I'm trying to balance out that (8 exams plus coursework and an extended project of 5000 words and then a presentation to go with it) with work, boyfriend, best friend, sleep, family ect plus last week I started running. I'm using a couch to 5k app and so far I'm sticking with it which is good but it basically means when I get free time to myself I barely have the energy to write or do anything.

I've occasionally came on here to check any notifications or just lurk for a bit but that's it. I have a story idea that I slightly developed but that, as well as my main project on here and my novel, is on hold for the Summer because I can't afford to focus on anything but my exams now.

Buuut I did get a really strong blast of inspiration for a poem so I decided to go for it. Here it is: Artist. I'd really appreciate any feedback if you want to have a look at it, I'd be super grateful :3

I have the best summer lined up and its basically the only thing that's getting me through right now.

- Firstly I'm turning 18 in August (finally!!) so I'll be able to drink and actually go out with friends which'll be good so I'll do something for that.
- I'm going to Reading festival with friends and omg the line up is so good: Arctic Monkeys, Imagine Dragons, Vampire Weekend, Foster the People, Enter Shikari, A Day to Remember, You Me at Six ect, it'll be my first festival and I'm so excited
-At the beginning of September I should be gong to Barcelona with my best friend which will be absolutely amazing
- I'm probably going camping with my friends at some point too
- I'm planning on taking the boyfriend away for a day for his birthday but I haven't decided where yet,
he said he doesn't really care and just wants me to book a hotel somewhere :P
- My friend gets free tickets to Drayton Manor (a theme park) so that's happening and I haven't been in so long :D
- I can finally focus on writing again and possibly finish my novel, maybe?
-I want to start to learn Spanish for Barcelona/just because I want to

So yeah it should be amazing. Over three months after my last exam until I go to University and I'm going to make the most of them :)
