-Where do you see yourself in 10 years?
Let's see. I'll be 35 then, so that'll be weird. Ideally, I'll be climbing the ranks in the editorial division of a publishing company in or near Chicago, IL, living there with my husband, making enough money to visit each of our parents--his in Ohio and mine in Minnesota--on a regular basis. I'd like to have finished a novel by then, or at least have a couple poetry chapbooks published. And I'll probably at least have one child, maybe two.
-Do you want to get married?
Well, I'm kind of...doing that...four weeks from today, so. I suppose I'd like to, yeah. =P
-Do you want to have children?
I think my answer to the first question answers this one.
-Do you want to move? If yes, where?
My first answer answers this one, too. Currently I live in Minnesota. My soon-to-be husband and I have been talking for the last year of moving near Chicago, because it's roughly the halfway point between his family and mine.
-How does your dream house look like?
Hm. I don't want my dream house to be TOO huge, but I want it to have a large library, and a secret room, and a pool table and/or foosball table. Also I need to have a large bathtub, a walk-in closet, and a window in the master bedroom that leads out to the roof.
-What is your dream job?
My dream job would be to work as a content editor working with fiction and longer works of nonfiction. Either that, or a submissions editor to a major literary magazine.
-What are five things you want to do before you die?
1. Own a red late 1960s Corvette Stingray convertible.
2. Have children
3. Publish some of my writing
4. Take a backpacking trip
5. Tour Italy
-Are you scared of the future?
Paralyzingly. Almost all the time. But then I figure, hey, I've been an adult for seven years so far and winging it has gotten me this far, so I figure I can keep that up, right?
-What’s your biggest dream you would like to achieve in life?
Probably either the editing career or the having writing published.
-What would be the ideal age for you to die?
Old enough to feel like I've lived a full life but young enough to still be able to wipe my own ass.

20 Random Questions
1. Do you support abortion? Yes or No? Give your reasons.
Yikes. Jumping right into the heavy stuff here. Um. I'm pro-choice. I feel like there's an important distinction between supporting choice and "supporting abortion." I, too, think it would be lovely to have fewer abortions in the world. I know that it's never an easy decision for anybody to make. But I think rather than making abortion illegal and subsequently unsafe, we should focus on minimizing unwanted pregnancies through comprehensive sex education, access to contraceptives, and access to sexual health resources, keeping abortion as a safe and legal resource in case other options fail.
2. Do you support euthanasia? Yes or No? Give your reasons.
Absolutely. I'll tell you right now: If I ever end up at a point where I have an issue like Alzheimer's that causes me to forget the people I love, I would like the option to choose when I die before I don't know who my husband or children are. I think that should be an option for me. I think I should have the right to make that choice.
3. Would you rather go back in time or remain where you are in terms of the time of your life?
I'd mostly like to remain where I am now. Because I know I've got a lot going for me. But sometimes I wish I could go back to 2010 when I was a lot more open to all these great opportunities that were coming at me one after the other, and I was handling the major changes in life impressively smoothly. Still, I know going back in time isn't an option and I'm grateful for what I have now.
4. Do you like the school you’re going to? Yes or No? Give your reasons.
It's not bad, I suppose. We have a great hockey team, which is cool. It's a big party school, which isn't my scene. I originally came here because they have an excellent journalism program and that's what I initially wanted to go to school for. But I more or less like it. Still excited to graduate this fall though.
5. Who was your favourite Disney princess as a child?
Jasmine, I suppose. She's beautiful and independent. She wants to decide her own fate. And she has a fucking pet tiger.
6. How do you manage your finances? What do you normally spend it on? And what would you do with your savings for the future?
I'm actually good at saving money. Sometimes a little TOO good, because I feel guilty when I spend $10 on something unnecessary, in the same way some people feel guilty for eating a chocolate bar when they're trying to diet. Most of my money honestly does just go to bills or into savings. Currently most of my savings is being drained on the upcoming wedding, but we should have at least a couple thousand dollars left afterwards and we plan to take a small, simple honeymoon. In the future it's going to go toward other Responsible Things; in the next ten years I plan to have two newer vehicles, a house, and children, so.
7. Do you still live with your folks?
Nope. I've been fully financially independent for five years already, so.
8. What do you crave for for desserts?
It depends on my mood, but usually something chocolatey.
9. Who are your style icons?
Style? That's hilarious. You're talking to someone who alternates between three pairs of jeans, about 15 t-shirts, and three hoodies. And a beat-up pair of sneakers. The end.
10. Would you rather die by fire or by ice? Like, burn to death or freeze to death? I think I'd rather burn to death. Might be a little faster. At least fire is cool.
11. Do you believe in an afterlife?
Not really. I don't firmly believe that there isn't one, either. I don't believe in an afterlife as a punishment/reward (i.e. heaven and hell), I know that much. Just maybe a separate plane of existence, if anything.
12. What do you fear most about death?
Only the idea of a slow death, or an early one. If I have a long life and a short death, I won't be afraid at all, I think.
13. Favourite countries and cities in the world.
I've always been in love with Venice, Italy. And all of Italy. Also New Zealand and Ireland.
14. Extrovert or Introvert?
A bit of both. I'm generally pretty open with my emotions and enjoy socializing and stuff with people I'm comfortable with. But at the same time, I need time to recharge after I'm around people for a long time, and I have a really hard time around people I don't know well. I'm definitely more extroverted than most of my friends, though; seems like everyone I'm closest to is almost completely introverted.
15. Do you own any pets?
I have y own cat, and my roommate's cat that lives with me too of course. Plus I still consider my dad's dog and my mom's cat "mine" in a way.
16. Last movie you watched? Did you enjoy it?
I'm actually watching Pitch Perfect for the first time right now and quite enjoying it. Before that, on Thursday I watched the new Captain America movie and IT WAS FANTASTIC.
17. Where do you normally shop for clothes?
Someplace like Plato's Closet where I can get cheap used clothes. Either that or Wal Mart, when I'm there and realize I'm running out of pants to wear. (Like I said...no sense of style here.)
18. Last person you spoke to on the phone?
A representative from my insurance company, followed by a representative at the repair shop that's going to replace my stupid windshield.
19. Favourite TV shows?
The Colbert Report (which is sadly not going to be on much longer), The Daily Show, and then a few that aren't on anymore, like Scrubs, Friends, and Boy Meets World.

The Long 100
1. What’s been the best day of your life so far and why?
Ooh. Toughie. Either in August of 2009, the last day my now-fiance was here visiting me in person for the first time, or March of 2010 when I got to go on a road trip to Los Angeles with my two best friends.
2. Describe your first kiss, who was it with, what was it like, where was it etc?
It wasn't too exciting. I was 15. A friend of mine that I'd known for several years kept bugging me to kiss him on the cheek, and when I finally agreed to, he turned to face me just in time to kiss me on the lips. I was a little annoyed by it, to be honest. Especially because he did it because he thought I should have had a first kiss by age 15. I was more or less fine without it, but.
3. What’s your biggest regret?
I did some things in 2007 when I had my first really, really serious round with depression that I'm not really comfortable talking about.
4. When was the last time you laughed so hard that tears fell from your face and what was it at?
I laugh pretty easily. I think the last couple times I laughed really hard it was at myself. Like, recently I was talking to my bridesmaid about the bouquets, and I said something like, "We only need three bouquets. Two for the bridesmaids and one for...um...for...the opposite of the groom?" Somehow two seconds after saying "bridesmaid" I couldn't remember the word "bride."
5. What is the craziest thing that you have ever done?
Probably the road trip to L.A. Basically, I won $5,000 through a sweepstakes and completely on a whim I decided to drive all the way to L.A. Me. Who is terrified of driving except under incredibly specific circumstances. ...Either that, or having an online friend up to visit me for a week and falling in love with him and deciding on a whim that he could move in with me and then ending up marrying him. That was pretty crazy, too.
6. What’s the most embarrassing thing that’s ever happened to you?
I...don't know. I tend not to remember super embarrassing stuff, and if I do remember it, I learn to laugh about it and not feel embarrassed anymore. I'm sure if I dig deep in my memory I'll remember something and cringe a lot over it, but I'd rather not.
7. Do you have any scars and if so, how did you get them?
I have a raised scar on my back from when I was like 16. I went to sit down on this metal chair and some asshole pulled the chair out from behind me thinking it'd be funny. Instead of just landing on the floor, a broken metal part of the chair left a good two-and-a-half inch gash in my lower back. I never went to the hospital for it because it hurt so little at the time that I didn't even realize it was bleeding until someone pointed it out.
8. Where would you like to be in 10 years?
Well, I think I've covered this already.
9. What are your views on drugs and alcohol?
Indifferent to alcohol and SOME drugs like marijuana. Pro-legalization, even though I kind of hate being around weed. Like a lot. (Too many friends in high school who were way too high way too often. Got kinda sick of it.) I drink once in a while, but that's about it.
10. What are your views on religion?
It's a personal thing. Personally, I consider myself Atheist-Agnostic. I live as an Atheist. I don't personally believe in any higher power. But I also know that I would have no way of knowing if there was one, and I accept the possibility that I could be wrong, and believe that humans have no way of knowing what the ultimate truth is. I also believe that everyone has their own personal way of arriving at their own personal beliefs and as long as no one is trying to harm others with their beliefs then they aren't wrong to believe whatever.
11. Have you ever thought about ending your own life? If so, why?
I've dealt with depression for years. There was a point in time when I drove home from work every night wondering how fast I'd have to be driving my car to guarantee that I'd die on impact in a crash. I couldn't cross the bridge over the river without debating jumping in and hoping no one would cal for help. I'd hear the train whistle blast from my apartment and imagine myself lying on the tracks. I wondered if it would hurt. I wondered if I'd ever get the balls to do it, and the only thing I hated myself for more than wasting my life was not being willing to end it. I don't know why. There was no singular major trauma I was dealing with. I was just completely unhappy with everything I was, and felt helpless to change any of it.
12. Write 5 facts people might not know about you.
Ooh, this might be tricky. Okay, here goes.
1. I've only ever been in two real relationships. Both were with people named Anthony.
2. When I was 20, I had a friends-with-benefits relationship...with a 31-year-old.
3. I have never had a hangover.
4. I haven't had cable in almost three years. I miss it sometimes.
5. I was the most pretentious angsty teenager you could imagine. (Even I try not to know that about me.)
13. What’s your zodiac sign and do you think it fits your personality?
I'm going to be weird here, because I went through a phase where I found astrology fascinating. I'm a Gemini, with a Virgo ascendant and a Libra moon sign. The Gemini means that I'm incredibly disorganized, indecisive, and late for everything. EXCEPT. The Virgo ascendant makes me a walking alarm clock, ten minutes early for everything. And the Libra moon sign combined with those makes me a people-pleaser; I can never make decisions because I don't want to make one that other people would be dissatisfied with. All of that fits me perfectly. I don't buy for one second that I have those traits BECAUSE of astrology, but it's kinda cool how well it fits.
14. Pinpoint a moment you felt the most satisfied with your life.
The road trip. I know I've mentioned it a couple times, but it was really amazing. It was the kind of spontaneity that I've always wanted in myself. Plus I was only a couple weeks away from my now-fiance moving in with me. I was just making a lot of decisions that were so unlike me; like I was somebody else for a while, or like I was living someone else's life, and one that I felt immensely happier with. I want to be that person again.
15. Discuss your first love.
The first time I was really in love, it was with the man I'm marrying next month. Can I tell that story? Oh, please, can I? We met online on the Linkin Park Underground forums years ago. When I got my own apartment in August of 2009, I wanted to meet an online friend for the first time. He sold his double-neck guitar and took Amtrak up to see me. We spent a week together. We had nothing but friendly affection for one another before then. By the time he left...it was an entirely different story. I don't know if I was in love, but he was. He said he can remember the exact moment he fell in love with me. For me, it was slower. He went back home, and we agreed that, since we weren't sure if we'd ever see each other in person again, we would just let that week be what it was, and agree that it had affected us both profoundly and we would move through our lives as slightly changed people. But then things happened in his life that are not my business to share, and out of a need to get out of his situation, I invited him to move in with me. I had nothing but friendly intentions when I invited him, but then we realized that we could try to pursue what we had started in August. That Christmas, he sent me a letter along with a Christmas gift (old school Linkin Park Street Team merch from the early 2000s), and in the letter he said, "I love you, probably more than you realize." We'd always said "I love you" as friends, but that was the first time I started to question what he meant by it. And once I questioned what he meant by it, I realized I didn't know what I meant by it either. It wasn't until a couple months later that I realized I WAS in love with him, and it had snuck up on me, and I still have no idea exactly when it happened.
16. Put your ipod on shuffle and write 11 songs that pop up. Explain why each song is on there.
D'aw. I can't do this one. I don't own an iPod and I'm now watching Game of Thrones anyway.
17. Name somewhere you’d like to move or visit.
Questions are becoming repetitive now.
18. What’s your earliest memory?
My grandma Lucy, my dad's dad, died when I was two and a half or so. I remember about ten seconds of her funeral. I don't know what I thought was going on; I'm sure I didn't understand death, but I don't know what I thought it was. I just remember mom was carrying me, and dad was standing in front of me, and I'm sure my older brother was there because if I was, he must have been, but I don't remember seeing him. I remember everyone around me was crying, and I didn't understand why. I hated that everyone was so sad and I couldn't understand it, so I started crying too, and my mom carried me into the next room. That's all I remember.
19. What are your views on mainstream music?
There's some good stuff, some shitty but fun stuff, and some stuff I hate. But everyone's entitled to like their own thing.
20. What are your highs and lows of this past year?
Not counting upcoming things? Highs include registering for my last semester of college, my brother moving back to Minnesota, and my best friend having her first baby. My lows have been my engagement ring being stolen, problems with my car, and general personal issues in dealing with depression and anxiety.
21. What are your strongest beliefs?
I guess I have some strong philosophical beliefs, but those are things I believe in for me, not as universal truths. I also firmly believe in feminism, but...that word carries a negative connotation because some people are idiots about it, and that is very unfortunate, because I know we in the feminist movement can do better. Generally I believe in humanitarianism. Stuff like that.
22. Who are you closest to in your family?
Probably my mom. She is the one I can go to with absolutely anything, and she can respond with calmness, understanding, and love, and I don't know what I would do without her, especially these last few years when life has been so stressful.
23. How important do you think education is?
Extremely important. It doesn't necessarily have to be formal education, but I think it's important to constantly strive to learn about yourself and the world around you.
24. What’s one of your favorite shows?
Didn't I already answer this? Though I think I forgot to mention Game of Thrones before, which I'm watching now, so.
25. How have you changed in the past 2 years?
I don't know. I'd like to think I have. Let's see, two years ago was 2012...I've gotten better at adapting to stress, I've regained some of my optimism, I've returned to some of my passion for writing, and I've tried to become more interested in the world around me again. I've started trying to move toward a future. I guess in some ways I have changed.
26. Name 5 people who are famous who you find attractive.
I'll just go with my established Free Five.
1. Scarlett Johansson
2. Kat Dennings
3. Robert Downey, Jr.
4. Tom Hiddleston
5. Matt Bellamy
And can I include a bonus sixth one? Because I have been hardcore crushing on Zoe Saldana lately.
27. Name your favorite movie and what it’s about.
I don't know if I really have one? I don't watch a ton of movies. I guess the Lord of the Rings movies, because I'm just a tad obsessed with Middle Earth. It's just...beautiful. The cultures and the languages and the worlds and ohhhhhhhh I wish I was a Hobbit.
28. Who is someone who fascinates you and why?
Gollum. It can be a fictional character right? Because now I'm in a LotR mentality and just DO NOT TALK TO ME ABOUT MY GOLLUM FEELS OKAY.

30. What’s a problem that you have recently had or are currently having?

The highest has been probably my bridal shower. The lowest has definitely been my engagement ring being stolen.
34. What’s something that you’ve done in the past that you would never do again?
Plan a wedding.
35. What is you’re biggest insecurity and why?
My teeth are crooked and yellowish and I have an overbite. Also I have acne as bad as I did when I was 15. Thought that would've gone away by now.
36. What were the last 3 songs you listened to and what did they mean to you?
Um. All the songs in Pitch Perfect. And I have no idea what any of them mean to me. None of them really have any particular personal importance.
37. Do you have a toy that’s really special to you and if so what is it, how did you get it etc?
I'm 12 and it's hard for me to hear "toy" and think of it iin non-adult terms. Okay, on a serious note...I don't know if I still have many childhood toys, but I do still have a couple cloth dolls that were given to me before I was a year old. One was in my crib the day I got home from the hospital after birth, and the other was made by a close relative.
38. Have you lost anyone close to you to death?
Not recently. My grandfather passed away when I was eight. Many of the relatives and acquaintances that have passed on since have been people to whom I wasn't especially close, though their deaths still saddened me.

To better myself, and to make sure that I never stop growing and changing.

41. If you got to spend an entire day with your favourite celebrity what would you guys do?

42. If you could only listen to one artist for the rest of your life, who would you choose and why?
Oh gosh. Muse, maybe? Every Muse song makes me feel like Matt Bellamy is trying to seduce me with his voice. (And it's WORKING.) Um. Either that or Idina Menzel because....because Idina Menzel.
43. What are 3 traits that you like about yourself and what are three that you dislike about yourself?
Three traits I like:
1. My fantastic booty and legs
2. My terrible awful no-good very bad sense of humor
3. My passion for literature
Three traits I dislike:
1. I'm pretty lazy
2. I let my emotions get the better of me sometimes
3. I'm the most unbearably indecisive person I know
44. Can you cook? If so what are your favorite dishes to make?
Hardly. I do like to make this one chicken casserole dish, though.
45. What was the last decision you regretted making?
The decision to procrastinate on all the shit I have to do this weekend.
46. Who’s opinion of yourself do you value the most?
My fiance's, of course. And my best friends'. And my family's. Those are the only people whose opinions really matter to me.
47. What’s the nastiest thing you’ve ever said to another human being and what drove you to say it?
I once yelled "I'm going to shove your stupid yellow hat down your throat so it can soak up my cum when you're done SUCKING MY DICK" at Wario in MarioKart because he kept passing me and laughing and then he spun me out and KNOCKED ME OFF THE FUCKING CLIFF IN YOSHI VALLEY. (MarioKart makes me more vulgar than literally anything else in the world.)
48. What’s the nastiest thing anyone has ever said to YOU? Or something that’s hurt you above anything else and why?
When I came out as bisexual I was basically told by someone important to me that all "bisexual" means is that I'll "fuck anyone" and that all I was to them was a dyke and they threatened to out me to my entire family. They fortunately didn't end up doing that, but. Ouch.
49. You can ask your favourite celebrity 3 questions and she’s taken a magical truth pill so she will 100% answer honestly, what do you ask?
Oh jeez. I don't have a favorite celebrity and if I did I'd rather respect their privacy.
50. What mark would you want to leave on this world after you are gone?
Just my poetry would be enough.
51. What makes you most angry?
MarioKart. Haven't we established this? Also bad drivers in real life. Also really presumptuous people. And people who are rude to telemarketers.
52. Who do you think is a really underrated celebrity and what do you love about them?
There are too many questions about celebrities. I don't know many celebrities. From now on every question about celebrities I will in my mind replace the word "celebrity" with "vegetable."
53. What are the main qualities you look for when thinking about a significant other?
I already answered this with three things I find attractive earlier, but: Intelligence, passion, a sense of humor, an interest in any kind of art...Hm. Curly red hair, glasses, about six feet tall, kind of scrawny, plays guitar...oh wait, that's my hubby.
54. What’s the most romantic thing anyone has ever done for you?
OH MY GOD. Okay. So when my now-fiance moved in with me back in 2010, he had been teasing me for a couple of months about this surprise he would have for me when he got here. Finally he arrives and after our embraces and cuddles and what not, he jumps up and pops a CD in my stereo. And, okay, who's REALLY familiar with Green Day? Billie Joe Armstrong's wife is from Minnesota. He wrote this one song for her called Minnesota Girl and the only recordings of it are on his wife's answering machine and in fancam recordings from shows they've played in Minnesota. And the CD my fiance put into my stereo that morning had a recording of him singing and playing that song for me. Oh my god I cried.
55. What is one of your favorite memories?
Let's see if I can come up with something I haven't already mentioned earlier in this post. I'll go with one of a friend I haven't talked about yet. I met this guy in my Holocaust Literature course and both of us sometimes just needed to get away from that class sometimes because it was so emotionally draining and painful. One day we skipped class and took a long walk down by the river. We stopped and sat at this big log and skipped rocks and talked for an hour or so about what happens when we die and whether there are ghosts. He is now one of my few very close friends.
56. What do you do when you really want to impress someone?
I...I don't know. I know when I met my fiance in person for the first time I dressed up in the only nice outfit I really own--jeans with gold trim and a white tank top and a black pinstriped jacket with red trim and cute red pumps. I guess I don't try to impress people too often. Usually I go for "not being noticeable" instead, which is kind of the opposite, so.
57. What are your 3 favourite animals?
The lynx, the snowy owl, and the pitbull.
58. What’s the nicest present you’ve ever received?
For Christmas when I was 14 my dad got me a replica of The One Ring from Lord of the Rings. I still wear it frequently.
59. People always go around saying ‘oh I’m their biggest fan’, but what does being a truly big fan of someone mean to you?
I dunno, respecting them as a person and enjoying what they put out into the world?
60. Have you ever wanted to change anything about your life?
I have. Many times. In retrospect I usually decide that the way it's gone so far has been better in the long run.
61. What is something you feel like you are really good at?
Procrastinating. Making it look like I know what the fuck I'm doing.
62. What are your top 5 favourite all time songs by your favourite artist?
I don't think I can pick a favorite artist, but since I said Idina Menzel earlier just assume all five of my favorite songs probably come from the Wicked soundtrack. Ooh, or you could go with composer Howard Shore and go with any five Lord of the Rings soundtrack songs of your choosing, so long as the list includes "Concerning Hobbits."
63. What are your top 5 favourite all time videos by your favourite artist?
I'm going to skip this one. I'm sorry.
64. If you were given $3,000,000 to put towards 3 charities/foundations ($1 mil each obvs), what would you choose and why?
1. Kiva.org - a microfinancing site where you can make loans in increments of $25 to developing businesses in developing countries to help improve their economy from the ground up
2. Lutheran World Relief - a Lutheran-based organization that helps people worldwide of all faiths, working on projects that help teach communities to be self-sufficient rather than simply providing them with resources, offering both short-term and long-term solutions
3. Hard to choose, but probably either Public Radio/Broadcasting or Planned Parenthood. Because they're just good resources that I like to support.
65. What’s one thing someone has done for you that was really small but made a huge impact?
I remember one time in high school I was in the counselor's office because one of my friends told me she had tried to kill herself, so I showed up to my math class late. My teacher met me in the hall and asked if I was okay because I was fighting off tears. Instead of answering, I just handed him the slip from the counselor excusing my tardiness and said, "I'm sorry. I have a pass." He knelt down next to me and said, "That's not what I asked. Are you okay?" And just knowing that my teacher actually genuinely cared was really good.
66. What do you do when you can’t sleep?
Play out impossible movie-length imaginary scenarios in my head that have never happened to me and never will.
67. What’s something that’s on your bucket list?
I already listed a few items on my bucket list, but I'll also add "overcome my phobia of needles and start donating blood" to the list now.
68. If you could change 3 things within your government, what would they be and why?
1. Legalize same-sex marriage
2. Make any politician who says that people living on government assistance "have it easy" live on minimum wage for a year
3. Make them stop fucking bickering all the time
69. What’s your favourite holiday and why?
Christmas, I suppose. Just because it's almost the only holiday that my family is consistently together every year. Also the music is a big plus.
70. What’s the kindest thing a stranger has ever done for you? Even if it’s TINY like holding a door open for you, something that you remember even though they were a complete stranger.
The day my engagement ring was stolen I was walking across town in tears, and a young black woman with a thick accent said, "Be happy." I wanted to be angry because I had every right to be upset, but I couldn't, so I just choked out "My engagement ring was just stolen." She paused a moment and said, "Still, be happy. The ring was a symbol of your love, and it hurts to lose it, but your love is still strong, with or without the ring. I hope your day gets better."
71. Who’s your favorite cartoon character?
The Genie from Aladdin, probably.
72. What’s the first song that comes to your mind while reading this and why?
"The Rains of Castamere." Because. Watching Game of Thrones. Still.
73. Put the 7 deadly sins in order of the one you commit the most to the least.
Gluttony, sloth, wrath, lust, envy, pride, greed.
74. What would you like to be the first dance song at your wedding?
My fiance is going to spend the next couple weeks re-working his recording of "Minnesota Girl" and that's what we'll dance to.
75. Have you ever been told you look like a famous person, if so, who?
Nnnnnnope. Someone compared my writing to Sylvia Plath's once, though, a compliment I feel I haven't since managed to live up to.
76. What’s one thing you can not live without?
The internet, truthfully. And cats.
77. What is the most selfless thing you have ever done for someone?
I...don't know? Ask the people closest to me, I guess. Maybe I'm secretly a bad, selfish person.
78. Rate your favourite artist on a scale of 1-10 for the following things:
(I'm going to just go with Matt Bellamy for this.)
Looks: 7.5
Vocal ability: 10
Dance ability: ...I have no idea.
Videos: 8
Actual songs: 10
Lyrics: 10
Personality: I also have no idea.
Loyalty to fans: Still no idea.

3. The first moment my now-fiance held me in his arms when he moved in with me, after having not seen each other for seven months
80. What comes first to you out of friendships and relationships, and why?
I mean...That's...You're asking me to choose which is more important, my friends or my soon-to-be husband, and I can't do that. I could never, ever say one is more important than the other. They're all people I love equally, just in different ways.
81. What’s your favourite children’s tv show/movie?
Pretty much anything by Pixar. Particularly "Up" and "Wall-E."
82. What song makes you cry the most?
"Minnesota Girl."
83. What’s the funniest film you’ve ever seen?
I...don't know. I don't watch a whole lot of movies, I suppose.
84. What’s something crazy that you’ve always wanted to do?
Backpack from Minnesota to New York.
85. Has anything ever happened to you that you just can’t forgive?
Nope. I'm more likely to be unable to forgive things that are done to people I care about than things that are done to me directly.
86. What’s your biggest fear?
Needles, and complacency.
87. What is your favorite food?
Chooooocolaaaaate.
88. Least favorite food? Why?
I don't know, really. I don't have too many foods that I detest so much that I would give them the prized spot of Least Favorite Thing.
89. Have you ever felt ashamed about something? If so what was it and why?
Yeah. Outside of things I did because of issues with anxiety/depression, which I don't feel like getting into...while I was dating my first boyfriend, I had a crush on his best friend, who happened to be female, while I was still trying to figure out what my sexuality was and what it meant, so it was kind of a confusing and shameful thing for me at the time.
90. Do you keep a journal? If so what mostly goes in it?
I've kept a journal since I was 12, and I still have all of the ones I've written in since I was 14. Often it's just things that happened and things I'm thinking. Once in a great while I'll include a poem I've written that I'm especially proud of. Pictures are present but even rarer. Often it's just a place for me to work through my thoughts and jot down memories.
91. When was the last time you said something nice to someone and what made you do it?
I like to randomly compliment my friends. I'm a believer that if you care about someone or admire something in them, then you should let them know that. So I tend to say nice things to people I care about and tell them why I care about them.
92. How do you feel when someone says something mean/disrespectful towards your fave celeb?
Generally I'm not personally offended, but I feel like, dude, you're entitled to your opinion but can you try not to be a jerk about it? Rude. But I shrug it off pretty quickly.
93. What’s the saddest story/one that’s touched you the most that you’ve ever heard on the news?
The first one that comes to mind is this story my friend told me about, about this couple who were out partying and doing drugs and left their infant in his car seat in the car for eight days without food or diaper changes and he died. Sometimes people disgust me.
94. If you were told you were going to have 3 daughters, what would you want to name them?
The only name I have picked out for any future daughters I may have is Ryan Genevieve. But I also really like the names Loretta, Emma, and Lorelei.
95. Do you have a middle name and if so, what is it?
Renee.
96. How did your name get chosen?
My first name is the name of my mom's favorite aunt. Renee is the name of a little girl my parents knew when they were stationed in Hawaii in the Navy.
97. What’s the craziest thing you’ve done for each of your faves e.g. waiting in line for hours, getting up early to see them on tv etc?
I dunno. I thought I was pretty ballsy that one time I asked Mike Shinoda for a hug?
98. Are you a virgin?
Nope.
99. What are the stories behind your tattoos/piercings and if you don’t have any, would you like any?
I don't have any tattoos, nor any piercings besides my ears. I do want to get "It's a dangerous business, going out your door" tattooed on me in Bilbo's handwriting, though. I may also do that on one arm and "There's no knowing where you might be swept off to" on the other, though I haven't decided for sure yet.
100. Do you have siblings? If so, what are their names and how old are they?
I just have one brother, named Tim, who just got out of the Marines. He's going to be 28 in September.

Okay, well, that was that. For the record, it is incredibly awkward watching a scene in which the owner of a brothel is giving his "employees" detailed instructions on what to do to each other and how to sound and act while my dad is sitting three feet away from me on the couch. (Though not as awkward as the time my mom wanted to listen to the Avenue Q soundtrack in the car that one time and "You Can Be As Loud As The Hell You Want (When You're Making Love)" came on. Yikes.
Anyway. I've been working on homework, but I stopped to do this thing, and it ended up taking me SIGNIFICANTLY longer than I'd been expecting. I think my fiance wants the laptop back now. Have a good night, Mibba.
Surprisingly, Most of These Questions Were Actually Pretty Interesting. (Survey.)
