Sims 3 Question

So my Sim is a mermaid and she is pregnant. The father isn't a mermaid I could've made him one I just didn't feel like it. All the mom mostly eats is goldfish and whatever else she finds in the ocean. Yes I legit bought goldfish just for her to purely eat. Since that's all she mostly eats how likely is it that the baby will be a mermaid? Cause I know there's a 50/50 chance but I'm not sure what the odds are with the mom mostly eating seafood and very rarely regular food. On a side note I am watching frozen for the first time. Simply because everybody loves it and I didn't see it when everybody else did.
