Catfished?

So I've been talking to this kid for a year. our anniversary will be tomorrow...one year. Yay! I'm nervous a.) because i haven't even met this kid, yet he has a house in the US. (he lives in the UK right now) and sure i've seen pictures of him, but their from like a few years ago. b) He is eighteen and and I'm seventeen and that's amazing right?

AND heres the catch my friend Annalise knows him and skypes with him and get pictures from him (recent ones) and it pisses me off because he claims that I'm the love his life. And I know he's going through a hard time like he experiences anxiety attacks, panic attacks, social anxiety, and he has night terrors, but i feel that if he really loved me he'd come here to be with me and let me help him through everything......someone please...anyone....i need advice.
