Exploring souls.

If body and soul are seperate...
That would mean that when you die, your soul moves on to something different.
Whether it be another life, or maybe the place they call "Heaven."

This theory is called dualism.

Well, I believe in reincarnation. I think that when I die, my soul will move on to another life, having learned whatever lesson it had to in this life. With each life a soul lives, it learns a new lesson.
That's why there are people who seem to do everything right and have a perfect life. They're old souls.
Likewise, there are people who just do everything wrong. These are young souls.

No matter how long each life a soul lives is, it always learns an important lesson. Even if it dies before it's 10 minutes old, it always learns a lesson.

Then there's monism.

Where the belief is that body and soul are the same thing, and that when your body dies, that's it. Sayonara. Gone.

Quite frankly, that scares me a bit. I don't like the thought that this is it, that my hell of a life is all I will ever experience.

But I think I've ranted enough.

I'm a dualist!
