I think we have an emergency

I'm in shock right now. Oh god

I just found out that my friend's mother passed away on Thursday. My mom just told me two days before the funeral.

It's so sad becuase I've known her and my friend for almost my whole life. And his parents are divorced and his dads never around. So he was so close to his mother.

It tore me up becuase I've never seen him this sad in my life. He was with me when my dad passed away and he was close to both of my parents too but this is different. His mother is the only person he had that was close to him and I don't know what to do for him.
