When You Read Smut...

So. If you're one of my regular readers you know that I am a big–no, huge– fan of smut. I love to write it, read it, etc. I've recently started a new story that's primarily sexual ( Between Me And This Loss of Sleep Over You) and I really like where it's going, but I also write a bit of smut in my other stories. I always feel like I write the same thing when I write it. I mean, I've come a long way from whatever sexual situations I used to write (those are kind of embarrassing), but I also want to explore more writing options when it comes to smut.

So, that brings me to my question: When you read smut what do you look for? What do you like most? What makes you go "Oh, DAMN." You know? Things like that.

I like to think what I write is pretty okay, and I know a lot of you are so nice to tell me that as well. But I want to expand my horizons, I guess, haha. So. That's that. I've been so exhausted that I haven't really felt like updating. But soon, I promise. I hope everyone has a great weekend!
