I'm Back! / Let Me Update You / Book Blog!

I'm back, not that I've really gone anywhere... Anyway, let me update you, whoever "you" is.

Let's see, I started my book blog almost two weeks ago. I've made a total of ten posts in thirteen days. I have up an introduction (exciting stuff there, ha), reviews for "Eleanor and Park" by Rainbow Rowell and "Love Letters To The Dead" by Ava Dellaira, some memes, a feature, a book haul, and...

*We break for this outburst*

*We continue*
Sorry about that... Mibba like totally pulled up a "book outlet" ad and then I just "had" to go to the site and see the YA Section and I just really want like five books there. I'll list them out for you guys!

Cinder by Marrisa Meyer for $3.74
Of Poseidon (Syrena Legacy) by Anna Banks for $4.49
Of Triton (Syrena Legacy) by Anna Banks for $4.49

Oh my gosh, it hurts to think about. No, don't click the "more button". Don't click it. Don't-- I clicked it.

Oh my gosh, they also have

Dash and Lily's Book of Dares by David Levith and Rachel Cohn for $2.99
Meant To Be by Lauren Morrill for $3.74

Oh my gosh…they also have Scarlet by Marissa Meyer for only $5.99

Make it stop. :(

Ok, enough of that. Ugh. Back to my "update" For real this time.

*Outburst officially over*
and my other post was talking about the Isla Is Coming Read-Along that some book bloggers are putting on. Basically, it's a read-along of Anna and The French Kiss, Lola and The Boy Next Door and Isla and The Happily Ever After, in honor of Isla. It comes out in only a couple weeks and people are like freaking out. That book is like…so anticipated. I just love it.

Anyway, I joined that, it's informal though, the goal is to complete Anna by this Friday, then Lola by next Friday, then Isla comes out! Yay.

I have Anna and Lola, but unfortunately do not have Isla so my participation ends in two weeks. Oh well.

Oh yeah, I wanted to talk about Anna. It's basically about this girl named Anna whose parents are divorced and her father is an author whose books have been adapted for movies.. He's not a super famous author, but he writes like books where people fall in love, obtain terminal illnesses and die. i thinks he's supposed to be a parody of like Nicholas Sparks. And Lurlene McDaniel. ::XD: (Lurlene's characters always have terminal illnesses, fall in love (usually) and die). At least it happens a lot in her books.

Anna is a Senior in high school who ends up going to Paris for boarding school against her wishes. She wouldn't really mind it…except she had no choice, she moved away from her best friend and love interest.

I promise you, it's really really really freaking good. I know what everyone rants about now. That's the whole reason I even got online, to talk about the book on Twitter.

So yeah, I started the book yesterday, read like eight pages, then stopped because I kept getting distracted with like, reading blogs so…you know. I started it again tonight and I'm up to page 58 in chapter six. I know, that's not very far. I think there's going to be some sight seeing movie montage scene though coming up which I got really excited about.

Let's see, what else, what else… I have one scheduled post to go up Monday since I'm going to be helping out with VBS (Vacation Bible School), leading around little kids and all that jazz Monday to Friday from 2-5. The scheduled post isn't anything big, just my Barnes and Noble book haul I've been meaning to put up for…two weeks now.

I also need to eventually post my Saturday book haul. There was this bag day sale at the library last Saturday and the line was crazy. I got there around 9:30 because "I don't want to be there at 8:30, that's too early. It doesn't even start until ten." That was a mistake, I should have caught the eight something bus. Oh well. I got nine books. :) Two Nicholas Sparks ones.

So that haul will probably go up Wednesday. I also have a discussion post I want to go up too inspired by the "book sale". Spoiler Alert: It's about book sales! Omg, I know. How shocking.

Oh, I have a book review for "The Statistical Probability of Love At First Sight" by Jennifer E. Smith going up some time this week. Maybe tomorrow. Maybe Wednesday. Then as soon as I finish Anna, I'll write the review for that book and put that up. Same for Lola. . .

As you can see, I post constantly on my blog.

My blog is…

http://www.yaindulgences.wordpress.com

Yep, it's called "YA Indulgences", technically Young Adult Indulgences, but whatever.

I kind of like it, I don't know. The blog feels boring. I think it's because I'm not sure what I'm doing yet so there's no regular routine exactly. Whatever, I'll learn. So that's what I'm doing.

P.S. If you're in the Sailor Moon Club, I'm so sorry I've neglected you all. :( I've just been distracted with this blog.
