Get to Know Me - Longest Survey Ever.

So I borrowed this off of nearly witches. (which is an awesome handle, by the way) and figured it has been awhile since my last post and I know I'm late on my July blog I'll get right on that. But, this is a thing and I like getting to know people so here we go -

1:Do you sleep with your closet doors open or closed?
I don't have doors on my closet, I have curtains. And they are closed most of the time. Unless my cat messes with them.

2:Do you take the shampoos and conditioner bottles from hotel?
No, I'm very particular about the stuff I put in my hair.

3:Do you sleep with your sheets tucked in or out?
I'm a toss and turner so they always become untucked within minutes.

4:Have you ever stolen a street sign before?
I have not. I don't see the purpose and, depending on what sign you're stealing, could cause serious issues for others and lead to someone getting hurt. I'm such a mom. Without kids.

5:Do you like to use post-it notes?
I use them a lot, actually. I like having multiple colors, too.

6:Do you cut out coupons but then never use them?
Sometimes. I cut out a lot of coupons but sometimes I'm not getting what they are used for so they end up going to waste.

7:Would you rather be attacked by a big bear or a swarm of a bees?
Am I going to die from these attacks? Because bees, if not. Not as fatal as a bear. Although bears are awesome so this is a tough one. I don't like nature so the odds of either happening to me are slim to none.

8:Do you have freckles?
I do. Even more so in the summer.

9:Do you always smile for pictures?
Uhh yeah mostly. Sometimes I make weird faces.

10:What is your biggest pet peeve?
I have so many that it's ridiculous. One of them is when someone starts a sentence and doesn't finish it. Chewing loudly - which I've been told is an actual condition but the name is escaping me.

11:Do you ever count your steps when you walk?
I used to be really bad about this when I was in college for my undergrad but I have since gotten a lot better.

12:Have you ever peed in the woods?
I have. And I did it with grace despite being drunk.

13:What about pooped in the woods?
No, I draw the line at peeing and only then when desperate.

14:Do you ever dance even if theres no music playing?
I have this problem where I spontaneously dance with or without music but with definitely helps things. I'm not very coordinated anyway.

15:Do you chew your pens and pencils?
I used to but I stopped unless it's a #2 pencil and not a mechanical one. Then I still do.

16:How many people have you slept with this week?
0. That is a very personal question.

17:What size is your bed?
Twin. I'm getting a new bed but I've been happy with a smaller one because I have a lot of stuff that I need room for.

18:What is your Song of the week?
I just heard "We Are Done" by The Madden Brothers and I am absolutely in loveeee.

19:Is it okay for guys to wear pink?
I hate the color pink so I don't like it on anyone, ever.

20:Do you still watch cartoons?
I do. Scooby-Doo will always be a favorite but I like some of the newer ones too. I don't watch them often, though.

21:Whats your least favorite movie?
Any dramatic romance movie. Titanic is a great example despite the babely Leo DiCaprio.

22:Where would you bury hidden treasure if you had some?
Why would I bury it? I'd be using it. Duh.

23:What do you drink with dinner?
Depends on what I'm having. Probably water or juice.

24:What do you dip a chicken nugget in?
Ketchup, man. The only condiment I like.

25:What is your favorite food?
Pizza. And more pizza. And sometimes donuts.

26:What movies could you watch over and over and still love?
Star Wars, Home Alone, Pitch Perfect. Anything with Emma Stone except Gangster Squad which put me to sleep.

A jerk.

28:Were you ever a boy/girl scout?
I was a Brownie, which was what came right before being a Girl Scout (it was like for the younger girls). I quit, though. They were drill sergeants and I hate the outdoors. Not for me.

29:Would you ever strip or pose nude in a magazine?
Not nude. Underwear, sure.

30:When was the last time you wrote a letter to someone on paper?
I'm actually currently writing one. I love postcards, too. I have Hogwarts stationary.

31:Can you change the oil on a car?
I can check it ...

32:Ever gotten a speeding ticket?
I have not, thankfully. Knock on wood.

33:Ever ran out of gas?
Once a long time ago, probably like ten years ago.

34:Favorite kind of sandwich?
Probably turkey and ham on toasted wheat bread.

35:Best thing to eat for breakfast?
Waffles and waffles and waffles and then bacon and bacon and bacon.

36:What is your usual bedtime?
Lately, about ten. I'm an old woman and work early.

37:Are you lazy?
Sometimes.

38:When you were a kid, what did you dress up as for Halloween?
I was a couple of Disney princesses I think - Belle and Jasmine for sure. Cats. Lots of cats. Probably witches. I do the witch thing still.

39:What is your Chinese astrological sign?
I am a fire tiger. Grr.

40:How many languages can you speak?
English. I can hit on you in Italian and translate a lot of Latin.

41:Do you have any magazine subscriptions?
No, but I steal my mom's Glamour sometimes.

42:Which are better legos or lincoln logs?
How is that even a question? Legos. Duh.

43:Are you stubborn?
Only when I know I'm in the right.

They both suck. Conan all the way.

It's probably been about a decade and a half since I've seen one.

46:Are you afraid of heights?
Big time.

Doesn't everyone? I dance,too.

Nah. I'm usually thinking too much. Or still asleep.

Hah. Just answered this. Yes.

50:Ever used a gun?
No, but I would love to go to the range sometime and shoot things. Anger management, ja feel?

51:Last time you got a portrait taken by a photographer?
It's been almost a decade probably.

52:Do you think musicals are cheesy?
Yeah mostly. Except Phantom of the Opera.

53:Is Christmas stressful?
Not for me. I'm like Leslie Knope.
Giving gifts is literally the best high in my life.

54:Ever eat a pierogi?
Pirogi* And no. I can spell it better than you but I don't even know wtf it is.

55:Favorite type of fruit pie?
Not a pie kind of gal. More of a cupcake or cheesecake person.

56:Occupations you wanted to be when you were a kid?
Teacher (which is what I'm studying to be - can't believe I knew what I wanted at 6).

I've seen and heard a thing or two.

All the time. There's a rumor that it's just you remembering something from a dream you've forgotten. I like that idea.

I do!

Nope.

I have two silk robes and they make me feel fabulous and also like a bored housewife trying to seduce the pool guy.

Nighties most of the time. Or big tees.

I think it was *NSYNC. Which was sad because I preferred the Backstreet Boys at the time.

Target all the way.

Either, but I own more Nike.

Fritos.

67:Peanuts or Sunflower seeds?
Peanuts. Sunflower seeds are more work it feels like.

No - are they tres bien?

When I was young I did tap, jazz, and ballet.

70:Is there a profession you picture your future spouse doing?
Nope. Whatever he wants. My mom is convinced I'll end up with an artist and my dad has put his money (fictionally put his money) on a musician. Personally, I'm still waiting for a real life Indiana Jones to sweep me off my feet.

You bet. Does that mean I'm a good kisser or something? Because I am.

72:Ever won a spelling bee?
I came in second.

73:Have you ever cried because you were so happy?
Not much of a crier.

I do indeed. Talking vinyl? Love it.

I do and it's gorgeous. I love it.

Gross.

I thought so at the time but now I know better.

78:Who would you like to see in concert?
There are a lot of bands I'd love to see live. PJ Harvey, Arctic Monkeys, Franz Ferdinand, Chromeo, Marina and the Diamonds, Santigold, Stevie Nicks.

79:What was the last concert you saw?
I visited my friend who techs for Young the Giant at Bunbury Festival and watched some of the Flaming Lips.

80:Hot tea or cold tea?
Either. Probably cold, though.

81:Tea or coffee?
Coffee! But I like some tea, too.

82:Sugar cookies or snickerdoodles?
Snickerdoodle all the way, man.

83:Can you swim well?
I mean, I can stay afloat. But I'm not a strong swimmer.

84:Can you hold your breath without holding your nose?
Yeah. Not something I do, though.

85:Are you patient?
Depends. With kids I am extremely patient. With older people much less so.

86:DJ or band, at a wedding?
I'd go band on this one.

87:Ever won a contest?
I don't think so.

88:Ever have plastic surgery?
No thanks, I'm fine the way I am.

89:Which are better black or green olives?
Neither, olives are gross - leaving her answer because TRUTH.

90:Can you knit or crochet?
I'm actually trying to learn.

91:Best room for a fireplace?
Living room.

92:Do you want to get married?
I do. I love the idea of such a commitment to another person. I'm not much of a romantic but I firmly believe in the institution of marriage.

93:If married, how long have you been married?
Not currently married but someday I hope.

94:Who was your HS crush?
I had a few of those. None bigger than Jon Stubbs. He was my brother's friend. Except maybe Kyle Hamlet who was the biggest a-hole on the planet. I didn't know that then, though.

95:Do you cry and throw a fit until you get your own way?
Ew. No. I'm an adult.

96:Do you have kids?
I do not. Unless my cat counts?

97:Do you want kids?
Absolutely. I looove children. I was made to be a mother.

98:Whats your favorite color?
Green - SAME.

99:Do you miss anyone right now?
Lots of people.
