Pick & Choose Feminism

Now everyone and their mama knows that I am a proud & hella loud feminist.

And I'm just...sick.

I'm sick of people who wanna pick and choose their feminism.

We know who they are.

Like the people who are fully hands-on "fight me if you fuck with me" pro-one type of feminism.

But then go and completely shit on another one.

And I get it if you're a feminist who has their own niche. Like,fuck, I even have my own. I'm a black body therefore my feminism focuses on black women.

But that never gives me the right to fuck over or deny white/asian/latin@ feminism.

And vice versa.

I may not understand or am able to voice/help their movements at the same level I am able to voice/help mine, but that does not mean I will not support in any means possible.

It just really irks me when people go

"Oh! I'm pro-sex worker"

Then turn around and say

"Feminist who are homemakers are weak!"

NO.

That's not feminism. At least not mine.

Feminism means I support all women, not some.

You gotta support sex works just as much as you support homemakers.
You gotta support coders as much as you support bartenders.
You gotta support man haters as much you support man lovers.

Because feminism is for all women.

I also get that there are levels to this shit. Like some forms of feminism needs more support than the others, but we can't just run and leave them behind.

We are a unit. All of us are valid and important.

I'm just saying if you choose one, you gotta choose all. It's a bundle deal.

You can't shit on Nicki Minaj but praise Beyoncé.

Just like you can't shit on Beyoncé but praise Lena Dunham.

And so on and so forth.

I'm not making sense, but I had to let that out.
