Orthodontists=Jerks

Are all orthodontists jerks? Just want to know, cause like, mine is a TOTAL buttmuncher.

You wanna hear the whole story? Don't worry, cause I'm gonna tell you. X3

Okay, a couple of days ago, me and my friends were walking around the neighborhood garage sales. There was a food stand, so I got some Skittles. (I have Full-Blown braces) I didn't realize that skittles were bad, or that I shouldn't eat them. (I guess I wasn't thinking XD) I was chewing them, and my bracket and wire popped out. We walked home, I bit down on something hard, got the bracket on securley, and used pliers to put the wire back in. (I guess this was bad. Didn't realize it) I told my parents, and they knew what I had done.

My REGULARLY SCHEDULED appointment was next Monday. (That was Saturday) So me and my mom went to the orthodontist (It was a half-day at school). We walked into the office, and they called me back. I told the nurse first thing that I had eaten skittles, and was completley honest about it. (My mom looked suprised. XDD) She was EXTREMELY nice, and took them off and went to get the orthodontist. He sat down next to me, and asked me the same questions she did. I patiently said everything again, and stared, shocked, as he ROLLED HIS EYES and gave these little impatient sighs and stuff. While he was looking in my mouth, he said "Your mom is NOT going to take you out of school everytime you eat CANDY. I do NOT want to see you do this EVER again." Okay, first, this was our regular appointment, and I was not getting out of school, and it was a one time thing. He pressed my mouth as hard as he could, causing me a LOT of pain. (My orthodontist has sausage fingers) When he put the hard thing (don't know what it's called) in my mouth to bite down on, he kept going "Bite or I'll have to push FOR YOU" and kept rolling his eyes. By this point my mom was fed up. The orthodontist left suddenly, and my mom started complaining to the nurse. The nurse promptly APOLOGIZED for her BOSS. My mom was all like, "No I'm sorry for YOU, because you have to work for him." XDDD

My mom was so upset that we had to go to Gordmans for her to roam through the clothes to calm down, and I was in tears. XDDD

This wasn't the only time that he had been rude to me, so my mom finally called the office and asked about switching orthodontists. The nurse immediatley began groveling and begged her not to leave. (I guess they had a boat payment due or something) They called back twice, and when my mom talked to the orthodontist, she said "We might have to go to some vietnamese guy with small hands." XDDDDD

The last time they called back, the nurse said, "Does she like balloons and stuffed animals?" My mom was like, what the heck, and said "Yes...?" Then the secretary hung up.

When I got home from school, I saw this HUGE bouquet of balloons and a stuffed dragon tied to it. I looked at my mom and said, "What the HECK is that? XD" She said, "Look at the card."
It said:
"Hope you had a good day-- (Insert orthodontists name here)"

I nearly died. XD

Even if I forgave the guy, I could never go back into his office, I'd just die from embarrasment. I can imagine him sucking up to me just because I stood up for myself.

My mom scheduled a new appointment with a new orthodontist for Thursday.
So I'm happy. =333
