Being Better (Trying Anyway) and Life and Poetry

Trying to do this whole "self-improvement" thing. A little. Starting with my diet! I'm no longer buying anything which can be eaten immediately (so no chips, cereal, cookies, etc.). Any food I buy must at least require microwaving/chopping (though actual cooking is preferable), because just having to put it in a microwave makes me way less likely to bother eating if I'm not hungry. Stuff like apples are exceptions since I do need fruits and veggies.

I've already lost three pounds since I got back to campus, purely because I don't boredom-eat, haha.

I'm also using a Chrome extension that lets me restrict my internet usage, so I set a list of restricted sites, and now I only have 20 minutes every day to use them. The idea is to keep me from shopping online and wasting time on useless things, so I can be productive or at least do stuff I can talk about with people. I only have one friend who likes fanfiction (which is mostly what I read...) so I can't even really relate to anyone with books, you know? It's an issue. And now all my fanfic sites are blocked.

So that's my life right now.

Random self-promotion (with a little bit of shame): I posted three poems today, and I'd be so happy if you even just read one of them! They are...
By Dawn's Light, which is fantasy.
Ghosts, which is dark and in need of a better title!
... and Between Sunlight Beams, which is... a little more lovey? I guess?

Again, even just reading is appreciated! :D
