How My Music Tastes Evolved Through the Years

I love listening to music. Whenever I need something to do, I like to put some music on. It helps me have fun, rest and do things. I like a lot of genres (here's some I like-rock, metal, classic rock, grunge classic pop, alternative smooth jazz), but not every one (here's some I can't stand modern pop, k-pop, rap, swing, folk.)
As I get older, my music tastes change a lot. When I was little, I listened to mostly pop music. Now I've been listening to more classic rock and metal music. If you check my last.fm or spotify, even my iPod, you'll will see a lot of different types of music. I began expanding my tastes around 2008.
Recently my dad has been influencing my music tastes. He got me into classic rock and occasionally takes me to record stores where he introduces me to music I should listen to. Those trips helped me discover bands like Genesis and Steeleye Span. Both bands joined my current mix of Nirvana, Paramore, David Bowie, and Green Day.
As I get older, I hope to discover more music. Maybe I will expand my tastes even further.
Thanks for reading. :)
