It Does Baffle Me...

Good morning!

Thought I'd write my first blog in a while today, and it concerns the fact that I'm a little confused. Baffled, even. Why? Well, I've had this before, and I don't doubt that I will have it again, but recently I've noticed that one chapter of a story will get a whole bunch of comments, but then the next chapter may get, say, one or two. I don't understand the disparity. Especially in a co-write, where it's not just the same characters being seen over and over again, but instead the focus is on different people in rotation, so there's always something different to say.

So why don't all the chapters gets roughly the same comments? I'm baffled, to be honest.

I'm not complaining, or whining, but simply stating a fact. It genuinely confuses me that this happens. I know it most likely happens to a lot of us on here, and it is a shame, but I don't think there's anything I can really do about.

Other than write about it, obviously!

I just wanted to write about this issue because I know how much effort and passion and love I put into my writing, and how much my co-writers do too.

On a more positive note, I baked Pumpkin Chocolate Chip cookies for my work's Macmillan Coffee Morning, and I have to say, they smell amazing. Hopefully my colleagues will think so too! Hope everyone has a wonderful day :)
