Opinions on NaNoWriMo

Sooo.. I've really considering doing it this year. I signed up last year, but life just happened - moved in with the boy, got a new job, holiday prepping and just figuring myself out.

That was that.

Now this year, I've just been itching to write left and right. 'The Muggle Maid' will be updated, probably next month because I'd really like to complete a novel in the month of November. I'm not too sure where I want to post my writings - either here, Wattpad or some other site.

I am doing a lot of prepping this month and I think I have found what I want to go with, but I'm still toying with the outline to make sure that this year I can actually do it.

Here are my questions for you:
1. Have you ever participated in NaNoWriMo?
2. Did you complete it?
3. Where did you post your work?
4. How did you prep beforehand?
5. What was your novel about?

Also, I'd always be looking for writing buddies! :)
