I Love School Supplies

I don't know why, but I have a serious obsession with school supplies. I didn't have anything to do on my break today, so I just went to Walmart and bought $30 worth of school crap.

There's just something about opening a new pack of pens and using them for the first time that feels so right. And I love buying stupid things to organize my desk like shelves, magazine holders, little containers, etc.

Making labels for things is also a big bonus, and I love using sticky notes to flag things. Sticky notes are my #1 all time favorite. I use them for reminders, to organize and to hold places in my binders and teacher textbooks. I also keep a very detailed planner that I use color coded sticky notes for.

I think I was always destined to either be a teacher or a secretary and I think I made the right choice. You would think that I'd have a super organized desk or something, but it seems like I just have mountains of papers everywhere the second my students walk in the door, even if I have it cleared off before.
