Sometimes I Feel Like "Writing" Exists in a Freaky Time Tunnel

Have you ever looked back at some of the stuff you posted to Mibba (or other writing sites) and think "Holy shit! Has it really been that long?!"

I feel like everytime I take a look at my stories' page, I'm floored by how much time has passed since I wrote or updated a piece. I mean, I just took a look at a Supernatural fic I have posted and I saw that I'd written it six months ago! SIX MONTHS! Stories that were supposed to be very short chaptered fics, which I had planned to finish within the month, have been sitting and waiting on updates for over five months now.

I feel like I just wrote those yesterday!

When it comes to writing, where the hell does the time go? How can the rest of my life be on a slow crawl, but then writing stuff just zwings by.



^ That's me, hurtling towards NaNoWriMo with no real plan in sight. Just a lot of raw panic and what-the-fuck-am-I-doing-here going on.
