After a lot of thought, I have decided that I'm not actually going to be doing NaNo this year. It's my first year teaching and I'm dealing with some major stress at work, so adding NaNo onto that doesn't seem like the best idea right now.
I don't really want to get into it (and legally can't discuss details), but my school district is dealing with some stuff involving child sex slavery and it is going to completely take over my life until we can make some sort of headway with DCFS.
I really wish that I had the mental energy to compete in NaNo, but I just don't really think it's going to happen with everything going on right now. I will definitely be here to cheer everyone else on though!
