Persistence Paid Off

So I nearly gave up with Walmart because I called this morning at eight thirty and still did not get the manager.

But I decided to call back around three. while I waited for that time I looked at Snag a job which is the site I use to apply and find job openings. And I went to their Facebook page and realized they let you ask questions and they answer them.

So I told them of my situation and asked what to do. Well hours passed and I got nothing until a few minutes ago. They told me to go in person one more time and if that doesn't work then to call one more time and they linked me a video on how to follow up.

I decided to call instead and finally got the manager. She scheduled me for an interview next Tuesday at ten! I'm more excited than I am concerned. Concerned that it is next week implies that she has booked a ton of interviews this week.

I have to put it out of my mind but I hate realizing and knowing that I am competing with people for jobs. It sucks.

But I snagged me an interview and at Walmart of all places so I'm glad for that.
