Finals: A Survival Guide

1.) Get all study materials, high lighters, pens, computers, books and papers. Get whatever you need to get for this hardcore study session.

2.) Make sure you have water, it fuels the brain and you might get thirsty. It's good to have snacks like almonds or something too.

3.) Put on classical music or something in the background. Classical and movie score soundtracks are my personal favorite to use when studying for finals. 8tracks.com has a bunch of different playlists specifically for finals. Use them!

4.) Sit down relaxed and ready to study. If possible, try and start on the hour of something so it's really easy for you to keep track of how long you've studied or keep a timer on your phone. Remember that taking breaks is proven to help better.

5.) Realize you can't do finals and that your grade is going to be whatever and either start crying all over your books and hugging them because school is hard, or get up and take a nap because studying isn't happening and finals are imminent.

This has been brought to you by a really non-helpful college student. May the odds be ever in your favor.
