I did it!
I had to get an extension on my final 20-page paper because I didn't think I could get it done on time--my mind was on my father-in-law and it was a tremendous chore to work on anything.
But I found a random burst of motivation and managed to turn it in on time before class today. And I just got home from my last college class ever! I've officially earned my B.A. in Literature!
And now for this:
I was really worried, too, that I wouldn't be able to really experience any excitement or sense of pride, because I'm too worried about my husband's family. But you know what? I AM excited. I DO feel proud. I worked five and a half years for this, and now I'm ready to move into the next stage of life.
