I don't have plans to get published anytime soon, if ever, but I know that's the plan for a lot of Mibbians. I think it's natural for writers to want to get published.
Those of you who do plan to get published one day, hope to get published or are apprehensive about publishing, do you have any fears about it? There are lots of steps that go into getting something published, and I think a lot of those steps can be a little intimidating.
Personally, I think the most terrifying thing about being published would be how your work was received by the public. What if you finally got your favorite novel published but the critics hated it and no one would buy it? There are just so many 'what if's, aren't there?
