10 Things I Learned About Myself in 2014

I was doing a bit of thinking while watching my boyfriend do some programming for his Masters, and I realized 2014 was a pretty big year! I dealt with a lot and learned more things than I could ever begin to count. It had some really, really good parts and some really, really bad parts, but overall, I'd chalk it up to a win!

Of all the things I learned about myself in 2014, I came up with a list of the 10 most important ones (to me at least).

What are some thing you learned about yourself in 2014?? I'd love to know!

1. I am lucky to be alive.
2. I can love someone else more than myself.
3. I have a fear of losing people close to me.
4. I'd rather be at home than at a party.
5. I don't forgive easily.
6. I love teaching more than learning.
7. I don't need as much sleep as I think I do.
8. I really do love to write.
9. I can do more than I think I can.
10. I am made up of more than other people's thoughts of me.
