Today, something happened with FOB. I do not know what exactly, all I know was someone called Pete an asshole for something, and Joe and Andy chimed in.
Look, I'm in no way saying what they did was right, but come on, you call one an asshole, and they're gonna lash out.
They've spent 10+ years in the spotlight and spent those years being verbally put down by everyone, including fans. I think they've finally had enough and are just finally pushing back.
I think fans now, with the internet, are too...comfortable? With throwing these hurtful things out, thinking "oh they'll never see it it's totally okay". But they do see it and they take it all to heart.
And, I'm not saying we can't call them out on problematic things they do- we just can't be crossing lines and calling them hurtful things like asshole and things of the like. Like Pete said, what's the point of going out and putting on shows for "fans" who supposedly think you're an asshole? I dunno, it's just not right.
There's a thin line, and we all have to be careful not to blow right over it.
