Fictional Losses

Even though they’re fictional and even though my real life is great, I can’t help feeling overwhelmed by all the things that have been ruined because of who I’ve lost: Mitchell from Being Human, Danny from Revolution, Fred Weasley from Harry Potter, Charlie from Lost, Fili and Kili from The Hobbit, and most recently Beth from TWD. And even though they’re fictional, each one feels like a tiny piece of me being ripped away. I’m afraid to fall in love with shows anymore because every character I love dies. And sometimes, when I’m alone, it kinda makes me feel hopeless.
