I know it's called Earth-199999...999....9...? Okay, so I don't really know. Sue me. There are hundreds if not thousands of Captain America comics and I didn't really get all the universes right, but the one that matters, the one that started it all (and not the MCU's shitty adaptation but great characterization of Bucky) was the one where Bucky was Captain America's sidekick who used to be this pickpocket on the streets of Brooklyn and joined the army as a counter to the Nazi Kids.
I must say, I do like the MCU's Bucky. It's a good character with strong points and I do wish Steve had had that kind of support when he was weak and sick and small. But really is... That's not what happened.
For those who don't know (aaaand it's totally okay, don't let yourself be patronized, I myself don't know half of the shit going on at Marvel Comics, much less DC, so it's okaynot t know. The movies give us... The names? Uh, well, uh... Something?) Bucky was sixteen when he met Captain America, and he met him as Steve Rogers, Captain America, the supersoldier who needed him to do the dirty work.
No, I'm not kidding. A sixteen year old did Captain America's dirty works. He was a great sniper, with great gymnastic talents (which extremely pissed Zemo, one of my favorite villains and goddddddd why isn't he on the goddamn movies?!) and also for linguistics. He was loyal, happy, mischievous and a lot of fun. He became Steve's best friend, his confidant. He was the Robin to his Batman. LITERALLY.
And I want a fic that has young Bucky on it! A fic where you can see Toro and the rest of the Kid Commandos and give more protagonism to the Howling Commandos and Namor is there, and Howard was barely important, for God's sake! AND PEGGY WAS BLONDE. I DON'T KNOW WHY THIS ANGERS ME SO MUCH BUT IT DOES.

I want to see that. I want to see Buck growing up and beginning to see the ugly side of the war. I want to see some Commandos bonding and some mutants! MUTANTS! WHY DOES EVERYONE ALWAYS FORGET ABOUT THE MUTANTS?!
Talking about god damn mutants, I watched on Sunday (for the first time) X-Men First Class because the third X-Men movie sucked and Wolverine Immortal Superrevengeance Hugh Jackman Whatever was the worst thing my eyes have ever seen (Aside from Howard the Duck, Jesus Christ) and I was willing to watch it so I could laugh a bit at such horrendousness.
Now, I haven't read much about X-Men. But I know there was potential I could like it, like I loved the Winter Soldier even though it was so, so, so goddamn bad. Guess my surprise when I found myself squealing like the stupid ass fanboy I am.
Jesus christ. Like, holy shit. Not on,y did I like it, I LOVED IT. It was great. It was fun, it was serious, it was sad, it was thrilling, it was tragic and it had everything I expected and more on a true X-Men movie. I still think it's wrong for Max to be called Erik but you know what? I hated him and this movie made me love him as well as hate him even fucking more.
Charles was great. This Saturday's the Madrid Carnival and I'm going as him (the Days of the Future Past version, which breams my heart so much) and it's gonna be great.
Now, regarding Days of he Future Past... It kinda reminded me of Age of Ultron? Again, guys, not the movie, the comic.
In the comic, Ultron finally takes ver and Wolverine (along with the Invisible Woman) have to go back in time to change the course of the events. Sounds familiar?
Upppppppset with the Antman trailer, too, it looks like a dumb movie, but so did Guardians of the Galaxy BUT the GotG are allowed, since it was a great adaptation of how they really are in the comics. Loved it. Great movie. Antman? I was hoping they'd go dark, man, Antman is such a troubled character...
Reboot of Siderman, too, so he can be in Civil War. THANK GOD, I thought they'd make it without him.

I'm just venting this all out, but yeah, REBOOTS. SOMETIMES FUN, SOMETIMES VERY MUCH NOT WHICH IS MOST OF THE TME.
