First: I'm making a book (not really for publication, just to have) and the last thing I'm hung up on is a cover. If anyone's up for it, just for fun, would you want to make a cover? I just want a sketch of a black bird with a white background. Sweet and simple! You can add details like the ground or a branch or whatever floats your boat, but you don't have to.
I can't pay anything, since this isn't for profit, but it'd probably be quick and you'd have my undying gratitude!
Second: I accidentally made myself cry while character-building. -.- This one character is basically there purely to be an infuriating, pompous idiot, but then I had to go and humanize him with reasons for how he is and it got real up in here. Deep stuff. Painful stuff. And now I'm depressed and he's my favorite character and I need to really improve on the main character because my bias will show hard if I don't. Plus, I mean, I just want to write about the idiot now, instead of the actual story.
I hate when characters get away from me. D:
