Anyways, my name's Kelly! Aaaand I used to be a lot more active here until the past few months. XD I don't have any stories to update at the moment and nothing too bloggable is goin' on, so, uh, yeah. I joined Mibba back in January 2010 because my buddy sonniesaurus told me about it during history class. I was a wee freshman in high school and here I am now, a miserable college sophomore. :^)
As far as writing goes, I have a bad habit of writing long-ass novels. I'm also absolutely horrible at writing sad endings and letting go of characters, which leads to making a million frickin' oneshot spin-offs of stories that were completed months ago. I've got a few plot bunnies currently caught in development hell, but that's a whole 'nother ball game!
Uh, I'm from Florida (north Florida, which is basically south Georgia), and I use my hometown as inspiration for a lot of settings in my writing. I currently go to college in Orlando, though, and I'm always caught between hating my university and loving it, haha. I'm dead-set on getting into the character animation program here but I still have another year of prerequisites before I can even apply! XD (Kill me)
I guess another big thing is that I like drawing. I'm open to working in any area of animation (my dream job for the future) and so at the moment I'm trying to get better at...well, everything, really. Earlier this year I had horrible art block that lasted for a good month, but within the past few weeks, I've been getting my groove back. I think part of it stemmed from the three giant group projects I've been working on for classes, not to mention money worries and general anxiety about, well, everything academic.
I'm not gonna post any drawings in this journal but if ya really want an example of my art, I have a ton of doodle-dump blogs.
Also I just realized that I called this a "journal." Force of habit! When I first joined Mibba, the blogs were called journals and I still have to correct myself haha.
