This legit happened to me hahahaha
I mean like I only applied to 3 colleges and all were the top colleges in my country kinda like the "Ivy League" schools here in America
I passed Law courses on two colleges and my dad's like "you have no future in law"

grades are the things that establish your reputation, i swear.
and i'm so used to getting compared to other kids i know who are really great at math and have better grades than i do.

Well, i can say for sure that a lot of asian households maintain this kind of mentality in society. I mean, a lot of chinese, korean, japanese, singaporean and filipino households hold grades over total respect of a human being. I don't know - i'm fucking over it
it's like you get 85 and it's not even considered a good grade. Only 95+. Whatever.
But to be honest, I really want to be a dean's lister because i'm very competitive
