Okay Really Silly Question Lol

I have decided to start writing again, since it was once my passion to write.. I have seen in other stories where some have written parts of their story in italic font. My question is.. how do you do that? I guess i could say I'm still a bit newbish even though I've been here for over 7 years lol. I would love to use that in a couple of the stories i started to write again. If someone could please tell me how to do that i would greatly appreciate it and i'll even put in a shout out to whoever helps me in one of my stories so please help!!!! Thanks!!! :)
