Bucket Gardening: Update

Here are our potatoes, this is after putting about 2 inches of soil in around the plants. The little one is still slightly lagging behind so I tried to leave it as uncovered as I could.

Also I almost killed my basil! It got up to 95 I think and it wilted really bad. I brought the poor thing in and set it up by the kitchen window after watering it, still looks a bit wilted but it is much better, believe me.

I haven't found anymore bites taken out of my tomato plant... Yet. I spent 45 minutes tearing down awful briar vine that is wrapped around our fence. That stuff is just... I want to burn it! It's also wrapped around our neighbors tree that is growing through our fence and into our driveway, I took care of that as well. What does this have to do with bucket gardening? You may ask. Not much, I just felt accomplished and decided to share! I hope my local nursery carried catnip, these mosquitoes are killing me, I've read that catnip oil or catnip plants work just as well if not better than DEET. I was also going to try lavender oil but I keep forgetting, I have some in my cabinet. Anyway, have a good day/night!
