I Love My Kids

I got the boys to bed then thad asked me to make him some dinner as the boys and i ate while he was out on call i said ok no problemo.

I got his food started cooking, then I hear the boys bedroom door open and im like oh who is it. I see its Tobi looking miserable.

He shuffles over to me whimpering and mumbling holding his arms up. I ask him whats wrong. He looks up with tears in his eyes and says

"Mommy I need you" and shuffles closer. In my head Im cheering and happy dancing. outwardly i smile and pick him up holding him tightly. I hug him for a moment and switch him to one hip to set thad's food all to the lowest settings and get some timers set.

I carry Tobias back to their room and Emmett is talking in his sleep grabbing at the air.

"Home, home, home!" He whimpers mournfully still reaching out in his sleep. I get his brother laid down and I snuggle up with both of them and grab Emmett's hand in mine.

He gets a tight grip on my hand, still sleeping and with the biggest sigh of relief and joyful smile he says "Ahhh home." and squeezes my hand!!!

Im crying like a baby right now!!!
