Coming Out II

(do you like my new layout?)

I posted another blog about this before here.

It's been a little under a month, but quite a few things have changed:
+Pretty much all of my mom's family knows I'm trans. Most of them don't care. I don't know how seriously they take me but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ there's not much I can do about that. They probably won't take me seriously until I actually start passing. But as far as they're concerned, I haven't been arrested and I'm not on drugs; in my family, that's a pretty big deal.

+I'm hoping to go on T next year around this time. I don't know how well that'll go over, but I can hope.

+I joined a local LGBT+ group for young adults (14-22). There's a writing club and an art club. They also have a student art gallery showing. Some of my photos are going to be in that gallery, and they're also going in a book dedicated to LGBT teens' art.

+There's also a writing club and an art club, but I haven't brought any of my writing because there's something disconcerting about watching someone read your writing.

+My dad probably won't approve at all, but I'll deal with him later. He's really stuck on gender roles and is pretty homophobic as it is.

I can't think of much else right now. The first semester of summer classes is almost over, so I'll have an English semester credit and a government credit. There's not much else.
