I want to start writing a story that takes place in a 1950s mental asylum. I have the general plot down and what the characters are going to be like but I have no idea what their names should be. I have some ideas and I just need help making a final decision. I'll post pictures of the characters (because this is actually the first time I imagined my characters as celebrities) and then I'll post a ? to let you know that's the name I need help with.
Main character (as Jinger Duggar. No idea why a kid from 19 Kids & Counting came to mind when imagining this story):
"Occupation": Patient
Reason at the asylum: Drug addict (possibly), delusional, murderer
First Name: Casey
Last Name: ?
Second Character (as Ashley Madekwe):
"Occupation": Patient
Reason at the asylum: Mentally challenged, epileptic
First Name: Michaela
Last Name: ?
Third Character (as Leonardo DiCaprio):
Occupation: Priest
Reason at the asylum: Not a patient. Volunteers
Priest Name: Either Father Paul or Father Henry. My dilemma with this is that Paul is more religious but Father Henry flows better.
Real First Name: Either Paul or Henry
Last Name: ?
Another character is the doctor. I pictured a plump, middle-aged white man. He has clear, circle-framed glasses, is bald on the top of his head but has brown hair around the sides. He's not that much of a big character so a last name is more important than the first.
Any suggestions would be very helpful! Also suggestions of a name for the asylum itself as well. Thanks everyone!
