Guess What?!

So, I am almost done with cosmetology school, yay! Only 10 hours to go and then I will schedule my practical exam so I may become a licensed cosmetologist. I'm holding off on going to school until Friday and Saturday, that way I'll graduate on Saturday so my grandmother can be there.

I was thinking of making a Tumblr page for cosmetology in all honesty, but I'm not sure that anyone would even follow it. I also want to make an email for possible clients and a facebook page dedicated to me and my work, but I'm just not sure yet. I don't have very many photos, either from not remembering to take them or because I do too many shampoo sets (where typically older women come in to get their hair washed, set in rollers, sit under the dryer, and then have it combed out). Either way, I'm worried that it may seem a little big headed of me to make a facebook page. The email, maybe not so much. As for Tumblr page, well that would be for hair in general, not just my work. I do have an Instagram where I post my pictures but it's also my personal account. I don't post anything on there that would harm me in any professional way (just selfies and pictures of my cats) so I figure it's okay to do so.

Plus, I know I'm moving back to Tennessee as soon as I possibly can so I don't really want to put myself out there in the state of Texas, just so I can move away. I wonder if I can get in trouble for doing hair on people if I don't charge them... I know, because I don't have my license, that I don't have any right to charge them and I can get in a lot of trouble if I do. I wonder, as long as they pay for their products, if I can do that... I don't see any harm in it. I'm going to look into it... That way I can at least build my portfolio.

But anyways, what do you guys think? I know barely anyone will read this, so it's a long shot that I'll get any replies but I would really appreciate people's thoughts, nonetheless.
