Day 5 of 31: My Favorite Colors

I know what you are thinking. Cassi, how could you possibly write an entire blog about your three favorite colors? I’m really not sure, but I’m damn well going to try. I’ll try to explain why I like them, but of course its kind of hard to do considering we all see colors differently. I’m also going to list these three to one, one being my most favorite. Here we go!

3. Yellow
A lot of people I know don’t like yellow, but I always have. It’s suppose to be the color of life, and happiness. Some people see it as the color of sickness or ruin. When I see yellow, I feel warm and energized. I don’t usually wear yellow because I’m too pale and it makes me look jaundice from the reflection. I usually try to buy yellow things in home décor, or use it when I’m painting. Yellow is also daring because of how bright it is. I’m usually more likely to talk to someone wearing yellow because it is a bold choice.

2. Red
I meet a lot of men that like red, but not a lot of women. I see red as a powerful and sexual color. I wear this color a lot. When I see red, I feel very confident, strong, powerful, and sexy. I buy most of my dressy clothes in this color. If I have an interview I will usually wear red, or if I’m going somewhere where I will see people from my past I will wear red. I am usually attracted to other men and women that look good in red. It’s just a sexy color.

1.Teal/Aqua/Turquoise
These colors are very similar to me, so I usually group them all together. Teal/Aqua/Turquoise is my home color. It makes me feel at peace. I wear this color a lot. When I see Teal/Aqua/Turquoise, I feel happy, calm, safe, and normal. My bedroom is painted this color. My bedding is accented in this color, and I purchase most things in this color. When I wear this color I feel like myself. I feel innocent and feminine.

Honorable mentions: Purple, white, black, mint green, nude, and pink.

Irritating colors: Orange, neon/dark greens, and browns.
