I've Turned Into a Tom Hiddleston Fangirl Again and I'm Not Even Mad About It

What caused this you might ask? None other than Crimson Peak. I saw it last night with my friend, and absolutely loved it. It wasn't anything like I expected it to be, the trailers marketed it more as a horror film, which it clearly isn't in my honest opinion. It's definitely a gothic romance,Guillermo del Toro has said all along, so I suppose all the people out there who are major horror movie junkies went in expecting one thing, thanks to the trailers, and received a completely different thing altogether. Personally, I loved it. I love movies like that, and, I mean, Tom Hiddleston, Jessica Chastain, Mia Wasikowska, Charlie Hunnam and Jim Beaver all in one movie? Sign me the fuck up. -Insert that good shit tumblr meme right here-

Other than the amazing cast playing into my love for the film, there's also the time period it's set in. I'm a major history nerd, I'm hoping to be a high school history teacher if y'all didn't know so that's kind of to be expected, so the fact that this is clearly a period film had be all over it the moment I saw stills of Hiddles dressed all smartly about a year ago. As if I couldn't love that man anymore, right? Again, sign me the fuck up.

Basically, I think all of the signs were there before I saw the film saying that I would end up loving it. And, of course, no matter the role, I always end up loving the characters Hiddles plays.
