DC and Marvel have vast epic storylines to them and Darkhorse comics have deeper and more personal storylines that don't revolve so much on superheroes but hero-like individuals such as Prototype and Infamous.
What do you enjoy most about superhero plot lines and what are some abilities you find to be interesting and exciting?
I've thought about writing a story about individuals with powers, but I don't want it to be cliché. Is there any advice anyone can give me about what they look for? I always add my own twist to my stories and try to make them sort of unique and different, so any advice would be helpful.
