Two blog entries in two days, this must be a miracle.
I've been seeing a lot of contest blogs so, naturally, I will jump on the bandwagon. So far, I've only joined one, but I plan on joining more if I have the time. Mainly, I'll list all of the contest I personally find interesting here and say a little something about them because why not? Honesty, contests seem like the only thing possible to make me write right now (and write things that aren't my already-existing characters in 24638 AUs).
The Romance Trope Contest by wonderful cis.
I absolutely love this one because there are numerous options and the theme never gets old. Besides, it has Robo Romance |D Basically, you get a huge list of tropes with both brief and detailed explanation, you pick a theme and go wild with it. Honestly, all entires so far seem so great.
I've applied to this one and I already have a vague idea of what I want. For now, though, it's just layout and some other basics, which you can find here.

You pick one character from the image provided and you make them main character of your story. The diversity here is great and the ideas are basically never-ending. I am going to apply for this one most definitely, I just need to figure out what I want.

The POEm Fic Challenge by Qhuinn
The gist of this contest is to take a poem of Poe and write a work (original or fanfiction) based on it.
So when I said I applied only one so far? I lied. Ten minutes ago I applied for this one too. But Poe is my absolutely favourite poet, so... I still have no idea what I'm going to do.

This one seems really interesting too. You pick a given period (although, to my knowledge, you can add your own as well) and write a story set in that time.
I know little to nothing about history if it's not about my country, so I have no real comments. Terribly sorry!

Feminist Story Contest by insufferable;
It's all about female empowerment and breaking the stereotypes for this contest here and while there is a number of stories featuring this theme, we most definitely need more! What better way to bring them in then by the contest?

Guilty Until Proven Innocent by dawn of light
Crime-centered contest; the main objective is to write a crime-related story, although you are allowed to spread out with the topic as well. I'm really not sure how I managed to forget it when I'm applying for it asjldkfdf Still, better late then never, I suppose!

With all the deadlines in March, it's going to be a busy February |D
Now on to the more personal part of the blog. As it is, I've decided that it's time for a small Mibba clenout, so I've removed some of the stories I've had here, seeing as most of them were not active at all.
I've deleted their pages entirely. Chaptered stories were Stone Cold and Celestial Cinder, mainly because I don't plan on writing Stone Cold anymore and, if I write a werewolf story, it will not be it. I've had a lot of lore and plot for Celestial Cinder, so that story is definitely alive, but on hiatus for the time being. Right now, I'm not really feeling my muse for it (at all).
I've also deleted Mother Pearl because I might give it a chance as a chaptered thing and not a drabble collection. Honestly, Coal Spines probably needs revisiting too, but for now I'm leaving it as it is.
I've left Ribcrowned and The Woman, my 2014 and 2015 NaNo attempts respectively, in-tact, and only because they are NaNo attempts. I cheated both times and I even failed 2015, but what can a girl do.
Basically, so far The Dead Tenants is the only active story I have, but I've been meaning about creating a small collection or something, where I would put stories that features TDT characters in various situations and/or AUs. Mainly because TDT is also an AU, because I haven't yet cleared out their original and actual story, and because I like the concept behind TDT more. Still, all of this so far is a distant idea.
Honestly, that's about it; now I'm off to cry about Cephalopoda and their various systems because I have an exam in 5 hours and I know nothing.
Or better yet, I am going to make aesthetic posts for characters from my contest entry. Yes.
